Dublin Dance Centre & Gymnastics is a
place where students can grow. "Moving…in the best
interest of children" is truly a way of life at DDC&G.
Each instructor, whether teaching at the recreational or
pre-professional level, is committed to teaching. DDC&G
instructors are not only among the most educated and
qualified in the area, but, also the most committed to
their students. Read their biographies below and

exceptional instruction.

TERESA CRYE
OwnerTeresa
opened Dublin Dance Centre & Gymnastics in 1984
(as Dublin Dance Centre) in an effort to find
quality dance instruction in a safe and positive
environment for children. Her love of the arts
and passion for confidence-centered education
has fostered the growth of Dublin Dance Centre
to include a full program for all students from
beginners to pre-professional. Teresa's goal for
top-quality instruction has brought DDC&G some
of the finest instructors around- not only
qualified and experienced professionals with
varied backgrounds, but, instructors who are
sincerely dedicated to the children they teach.
"Moving in the best interest of children" is
truly Teresa's objective in all of DDC&G's
endeavors.

ALEXANDRA NAPOLI
Alexandra began her dance training in
Pittsburgh, PA at The Dance Company for the
Performing Arts under the artistic direction of
Patricia McKeown. She attended Wright State
University as a dance major before acquiring an
apprenticeship opportunity at the Columbus Dance
Theatre in 2005/2006 dancing the title role in
The Match Girl and numerous roles with the
Company. In 2007/2008 she danced as a company
member in Victoria, B.C. with the Canadian
Pacific Ballet. She then moved back to
Pittsburgh where she taught ballet at The Dance
Company for the Performing Arts and became an
AFFA certified group fitness instructor. She
returned to Columbus in 2010 to continue dancing
with The Columbus Dance Theatre and is excited
to be teaching at DDC&G for her second season
and sharing her love of fitness and dance with
her students.

AMANDA McCOY
Creative Dance Coordinator
& Inner City Dance Program Coordinator
Amanda has trained in all dance art forms
with a focus in Jazz. She received her BA in
Dance from University of Akron. She has
instructed at the Miller South School of
Performing Arts (an inner-city magnet school in
Akron), performed with the University of Akron
Repertory Company, and was the Dance Director
for three years at Richland Gymnastics and Dance
Academy. Amanda is the Dance Consultant for
Mansfield City Schools and is starting her tenth
year with DDC&G. "I am blessed with the ability
to share my knowledge and love of dance with
others. When I watch my students dance, I am
overwhelmed with pride. I know this is what I am
meant to do. If my students walk away with love
and appreciation for dance, I have done my job.
Dancing just makes you feel good. Everybody
should feel the freedom of movement!"

AMBER GEISER
Tap Program Coordinator
Amber has been dancing for 30 years. Amber
studied dance at Bowling Green State University
and Kent State University. She has also trained
at the Broadway Dance Centre in New York and
from various master teachers. Recently, Amber
has studied under Ayodele Casel, Jimmy Tate and
Gregory Filler at Columbus Taps! One of Amber's
proudest moments is when she danced side by side
Gregory Hines at a literacy banquet in Columbus,
Ohio. Currently, Amber is the director of the
Columbus Tap Project, a tap dance performance
company under Becky Hoag. Amber is also a
featured dancer for John Kunkle's Miss America
Road-Show and LeVeck productions. Although Amber
is trained in various forms of dance, her
passion began at the age of two with tap
dancing. This is Amber's seventh season with
DDC&G.

ANGELA CARTER
Artistic Director
Angela's training includes 25 years of dance
study in Ballet, Jazz and Tap. She has had
considerable experience educating pre-school
aged children, including establishing the
curriculum for Dublin Dance Centre's Creative
Movement Program and 24 years instructing dance.
Angela has been involved with DDC&G since its
inception and has played an integral part in
establishing the highest standards for educating
the youngest dancers. "I feel as though it is a
privilege to be able to touch young children by
inspiring their self-esteem and confidence
through movement."

ANNE BROWNING
Adapted Dance Education
Coordinator
Anne has been dancing since she was 3 years
old. She has studied all dance art forms but
spent her later years concentrating on Jazz. She
danced for Julie O'Connell in Toledo, OH, and
she has traveled the U.S. for dance competitions
for over seven years. In her college years, she
used her dance and fitness training to compete
in fitness competitions. Anne attended OSU to
study Dance and Special Education. Anne has been
an Intervention Specialist for the last 11
years. She has worked with special needs
children from ages 2 to 18 in and out of the
school setting. She is so excited to expand her
love of children and movement to all kids at
DDC&G. "I am so lucky to be living out my dream
of dancing and teaching at DDC&G. There is not a
day in my life without dance in our house and I
can't wait to bring my energy to my students!"
This is Anne’s second year on staff with DDC&G.

ANNIKA RUSSO
Ballet Coordinator
Annika joins the faculty of Dublin Dance
Centre & Gymnastics as a licensed Physical
Therapist, former professional dancer and
accomplished teacher. Annika received her MPT
from MCP Hahnemann University and her BA in
Dance Pedagogy from Butler University. Her dance
and performance career includes national and
international tours with the Rockford Dance
Company where she was a Principle Dancer from
1990-1994 and a Guest Artist from 2000-2002;
Annika was a scholarship winner with The School
of the American Ballet, and danced with the
Butler Ballet from 1994-1998. Ms Russo has
taught for the Rockford Dance Company, Butler
University, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago
and most recently with her church: St. Patrick's
Episcopal Church. Her Physical Therapy
profession includes a focus on injury prevention
and biomechanically correct movement patterns
for dancers. She worked with the Rockford Dance
Company in Illinois and with the Pennsylvania
Ballet with this specific intent and will apply
the same principles toward DDC&G’s curriculum
and teacher training. We are excited to have
Annika on staff for her first season with Dublin
Dance Centre & Gymnastics.

ASHLEY GARNER
Ashley has been with Dublin Dance Center &
Gymnastics since age 5. She trained in a number
of styles of dance and gymnastics. Ashley was a
high school cheerleader for Worthington
Kilbourne High School and a member of the
composition squad. Ashley is a graduate from
Ohio University, with a degree in communications
and marketing. She is currently the marketing
director for Money Concepts. DDC&G is happy to
have Ashley on staff for the 2011 Summer season
and wishes her the best as she moves to
California this fall.

BONNIE LAVRIC
In Loving Memory ...
Beloved wife, mother, dancer, teacher, mentor
and friend: Bonnie Jeanne Lavric began her study
of dance with Louise B. Harrison in Pennsylvania
and continued as a dance major at The Ohio State
University. She danced at DDC&G for 16 years and
taught for six – primarily Creative Dance
classes for 3 - 5 year-olds, who loved her
energy and ready smile. Bonnie became very
interested in yoga and started teaching at
DDC&G, with a loyal following. She played many
character roles in the June performances, adding
her special style to each. Bonnie touched many
lives at DDC&G and everywhere she went. She is
an inspiration, and it is a privilege for us to
celebrate her spirit.

CHRISTINA TAYLOR
Repertory Director &
Education Director
Christina has been dancing for 33 years and
has been teaching for 22 years. Christina
studied dance at Fort Hayes Career Center as
well as The Ohio State University during her
junior and senior year of high school. After
high school, she completed her studies at
Florida State University where her emphasis was
Ballet, Pointe, Modern, and Choreography. During
college Christina received scholarships to
Martha Graham School in New York City and
Jacob's Pillow. After college Christina danced
professionally in Atlanta, Georgia for . This is
Christina's 17th year at DDC&G. "I teach because
I find it a blessing to pass my dance
experiences and knowledge on to children. I love
that I can make a contribution to the younger
generation.”

DEANNA GRAHAM
Irish Dance Coordinator
Deanna's family is from Naas, Co. Kildare
Ireland. Her father started Deanna Irish Dancing
at the age of 8 locally with Ann Richens. She
has traveled extensively performing and
competing throughout North America. She has also
competed internationally for 10 years winning
numerous awards and reaching a Championship
level. She qualified to go to the World Irish
Dance Competition in Ireland three times. She
has been teaching solo and Ceili dance for
twelve years in Columbus, Dublin, Westerville,
Circleville, Chillicothe and Lancaster. While
she is teaching she is also studying to sit her
T.C.R.G. with the Irish Dance Commission of
Ireland to teach competitive Irish Dance. This
is Deanna's sixth season with Dublin Dance
Centre & Gymnastics.

ERIN BEAL
Erin has danced since she was 3 years old;
she has studied Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and
Modern at the Pre-Professional level and
performed as a member of the Dublin Dance Centre
& Gymnastics Repertory Company. Erin received
her BFA in psychology with a dance minor from
The Ohio State University. She has spent the
past few years performing in several pieces
around the Columbus community, with Columbus
Movement Movement (CM2) and TUPACO company and
teaching. This is Erin’s seventh season with
DDC&G.

GAVIN McNALLY
Gavin Mark McNally started his training with Fort Wayne Ballet at the age of eight. He furthered his studies at Interlochen Arts Academy performing lead roles in The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty, he then went to Indiana University to train with Violette Verde. He joined the Kansas City Ballet where he performed works including Todd Bolender’s Danses Concertante, Twyla Tharp’s As Time Goes By, and George Balanchine’s Stravinsky Violin Concerto. Mr. McNally returned home to the Fort Wayne Ballet performing roles including Oberon and Theseus in a Midsummernight's Dream. He spent a year in New York City dancing with various companies including Janusphere Dance and furthering his movement studies. He is excited to be back the midwest dancing his second season for Columbus Dance Theatre and teaching for his first season with Dublin Dance Centre & Gymnastics.

HEIDI MAY
Exhibition Director
Heidi has been involved in gymnastics and
cheerleading since she was 8 years old. She
trained and competed with Midwest Gymnastics and
Cheerleading and competed individually. She was
a two-time All American Cheer and Dance Pro Bowl
Performance Tour and National Scholarship
Invitational qualifier, and she cheered on the
coed squad at the University of Maryland. Heidi
taught at AmeriCheer prior to DDC&G. She is
certified by the National Council for Spirit
Safety and Education. In addition to DDC&G,
Heidi performs and choreographs for Vaud-Villities
and Concerts 4 Charity. A graduate of Otterbein
College, Heidi has a BA in broadcast journalism
and minors in public relations and speech
communication. She works for Cochran Group, a
communications firm. "I am blessed to have had
the opportunity to teach and participate in
gymnastics, cheerleading and dance. It gives me
great joy to share my knowledge and love for
gymnastics and cheerleading with others and see
my students' excitement when they achieve
something they have been working on." This is
Heidi's fifth season with DDC&G.

JAIME KOTRBA WILSON
Currently a member of the Columbus Dance
Theatre, Jaime has been teaching and dancing
professionally since her graduation from
Interlochen Arts Academy as a dance major. Her
professional dancing includes two years with
Ballet Met, Columbus; Dance Theatre of Harlem,
New York; and Collage Dance Collective, Memphis.
In addition Jamie is the founder of Jaunsphere
Dance Company, New York where she continues to
guest perform. Jamie’s teaching includes
Columbus Dance Theater, Columbus; It’s Dance,
New York; Bust a Move Dance Studio, Shelbyville;
and Dance Arts Academy summer intensive,
Traverse City. We are very excited to have Jamie
on the Dublin Dance Centre & Gymnastics Staff
for her first season.

JESSICA TUPA
Stilting Coordinator
Jessica Tupa brings a lifetime of training to
the classroom where she hopes to share her
experience and, more importantly, her joy of
dance with her students. After receiving her BFA
in Dance from OSU she spent several years
dancing professionally with modern dance company
"Natalie Marrone and The Dance Cure." She has
performed, taught dance and Pilates in several
Columbus area studios and venues and is in her
fourth year as an adjunct faculty at Capital
University. She has been a very active part of
the Professional Modern Dance community in
Columbus and started her dance company, TUPACO
Dance in 2007, in affiliation with her wellness
class, TUPACO. Jessica created TUPACO to fill a
need she saw in the wellness industry. TUPACO is
a movement based class that integrates core
work, Yoga, dance, movement, fundamentals,
breath techniques, meditation and visualization.

Columbus, she was a principle dancer and
choreographer's assistant with the Tacoma based
company "Melanie Kirkstauffer's Dance Theatre
Northwest". Jessica believes that through the
artistry and discipline of the movement arts,
students of all ages and ability may add
enrichment and joy to multiple aspects of their
lives. Jessica is thrilled to be in her eighth
season with DDC&G; we wish her the best as she
pursues her master’s degree in Dayton and are
happy she will continue to be with us for
special events.

JULIA WYLIE
A graduate of Hope College (Holland, MI) with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Education and
a minor in German Education. Julia has also
spent time teaching in dance classrooms at
Zeeland High School (Zeeland, MI), Rudyard
Kipling Fine Arts Specialty School (Chicago, IL)
and Curie Metro High School for the Performing
and Technical Arts (Chicago, IL). Julia
dedicates much of her spare time to directing
and performing in Miracle Dancer, an annual
benefit dance concert started in honor of her
mother, which raises funds for Ovarian Cancer
patients at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Julia
has known she would teach since being inspired
by her first grade teacher, Mrs. Stegner. "It is
always such a delight to see the joy and passion
in my student's faces when they are in class and
on stage! What an awesome feeling to know I had
a part in that!" Julia is excited to begin her
sixth season with DDC&G.

KATHRYN FABIANO
Student Teacher
Kathryn has danced at DDC&G since she was 3
years old; she has studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap and
Modern at the Pre-Professional level and
performed as a member of the Dublin Dance Centre
& Gymnastics Repertory Company. Kathryn has
performed several lead roles in DDC&G’s annual
year-end and holiday performances. She has
attended several dance intensives including
Florida State University and Kaastbaan
International in New York. Kathryn is currently
a student at Dublin Coffman High School and is a
director of the Corps De Ballet service group.
This is her second season teaching at Dublin
Dance Centre & Gymnastics.

KERRY COBB
Kerry was a cheerleader for football and
basketball at Cambridge High School, and on the
co-ed cheer squad for the University of Findlay.
She took Ballet, Tap and Jazz from the age of 3
through 18 at Danceworks in Cambridge, Ohio. She
holds a BS degree in Biology from the University
of Findlay and a Masters (MS) in Industrial &
Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University in
December 2010. This is Kerry's fourth year
teaching at DDC&G.

KEITH MARSHALL
Keith was born and raised in Columbus Ohio
where he trained as a competitive gymnast until
the age of 13. After graduating from high
school, he began performing as an acrobat/dancer
working for Busch Gardens, Acroback for the New
York Knicks, and the STREB Action Theatre Off
Broadway, to name a few. Mr Marshall was
nominated 2 consecutive years for I.A.P.P.A.
Performer of the Year Award. While working in
New York, he discovered a hidden passion for
teaching, working with children and inspiring
others to pursue their dreams in the performing
arts. Keith considers himself blessed to do what
he loves while earning a living. His life’s
journey has brought him back to Columbus to
finish school and obtain a B.A. in Marketing and
the Arts. He plans to one day own a production
company and a non-profit organization focused on
exposing inner city youth to the arts. We hope
his dreams come into fruition as his journey
continues in Chicago.

LAUREN GRAFNER
From the moment Lauren could balance and walk
as a child, she twirled and whirled around the
house. At age 6, she began her formal dance
training in ballet, tap and jazz. As her skills
progressed and she sought more instruction.
Lauren studied with Donna Grisez at the
University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of
Music. Lauren attended high school at the
Cincinnati School for Creative Performing Arts
(SCPA) where she studied under Sheila Cohen, Pat
Rozow, Daryl Bjoza and Connie DiNapoli. There,
she developed her love for modern dance. As a
senior, Lauren toured with SCPA in Japan with
the "Book of Five Rings." Lauren graduated from
The Ohio State University where she received her
bachelor of science in Human Development in
Family Science with a minor in dance and was an
active member of the Multi Cultural Dance
Alliance. This is Lauren’s second year teaching
with Dublin Dance Centre & Gymnastics..

LINDSAY STALLINGS
Lindsay began dancing at age five at Dance
Unlimited in Tiffin, Ohio. She trained for
thirteen years in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and
Modern with a concentration in Classical Ballet
and Broadway Jazz styles. In addition, Lindsay
studied through Ohio Ballet summer intensives.
Lindsay holds her BS in Political Science from
The Ohio State University. Miss Lindsay minored
in Sociology and International Studies and also
studied with the OSU dance program. Lindsay has
been teaching for seven years and is beginning
her second season with Dublin Dance Centre &
Gymnastics. “I love teaching! It is my way to be
creative and active. I love to share [the art]
with my students and watch them grow as
dancers.”

MARA MANDRADJIEFF
Mara Mandradjieff began her ballet training
with the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet where she
performed principal roles in George Balanchine’s
Stars and Stripes, Serenade, Valse Fantasie, and
Garland Waltz. Her summers were spent training
at various programs such as the School of
American Ballet, Chautauqua Institute, and Miami
City Ballet. Turning towards academics, Mara
went on to receive her bachelors at the
University of Pittsburgh in English Literature
with a minor in Dance. Attending the University
of Pittsburgh presented Mara with numerous
opportunities such as becoming a board member,
teacher, and choreographer for the Pitt Dance
Ensemble where she worked with Susan Gillis,
choreographing and dancing for Opera Theater of
Pittsburgh, and interning for Attack Theatre.
Mara then began researching dance, body, and
gender theories. She went on to present such
research at the Pennsylvania State Association
for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and
Dance Convention with her lecture "Just Your
Typical Starving Artist." In the following year,
Mara won The Marlee and James Myers Award for
her critical essay Queering Ballet. More
recently, Mara finished her Masters in Education
at the University of Pittsburgh where she
continued to choreograph and teach as a
part-time faculty member, in addition to
offering her talents to Janet Hays Dance Studio,
Ballet Academy of Pittsburgh, and Point Park
University. In 2009, Mara joined Bodiography as
a company member and performed in Maria Caruso's
premier of Heart. We wish Mara the best as she
returns to her home in Pittsburgh.

MARTINE CLARK
Ensemble Director
Martine holds a BFA in Fashion Design from The
Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. Born into a
family of dancers, she trained in several dance
forms from an early age throughout Columbus. At
12 she was selected to train in BalletMet's
Professional Track Ballet Program. Broadening
her dance vocabulary, Martine joined EventCo
Productions, and was a guest dancer with
Columbus Dance Theatre. Upon relocating to
Chicago, Martine studied hip hop with Nonstop
Dance Productions and attended workshops, master
classes and intensives with many respected
teachers and choreographers. Martine has taught
and choreographed throughout Columbus and
Chicago and brings her diverse dance background
to each style of dance she teaches; in addition,
Martine’s studies in Early Childhood Education
at Columbus State Community College and The Ohio
State University add to her classroom
instruction. Martine is currently the director
of Ensemble, DDC&G's jazz/hip hop performing
group. This is her fourth year with DDC&G.

MERLE REX
Creative Gymnastics Coordinator
Merle has her Masters in Physical Education with
a concentration in Exercise Physiology from the
University of Alabama in Birmingham and BS in
Biology and Physical Education from Auburn
University. She has taught both middle school
and high school aged students and coached and
judged middle school gymnastics. She received
her Ballet training as a member of the Alabama
State Ballet and served as resident
choreographer and stage manager for the Town &
Gown Theatre in Birmingham. Merle and her three
daughters have been a part of DDC&G for many
years. We are excited to have Merle on staff for
her eighth year teaching with DDC&G.

RACHAEL FORSTROM
Youth Company Director
Rachael received her BFA in Dance from Ohio
University, with an emphasis on Performance and
Choreography. She began dancing at DeWeese
Academy of Dance Arts in Middletown, Ohio
including Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, and Tap.
Rachael has been performing and choreographing
professionally in and around Columbus for the
last 8 years, including Anatomical Scenario, The
Columbus Crewzers, Columbus Movement Movement
(CM2), Tupaco, Vaudvillities and Snap
Productions. In 2009 Rachael traveled abroad to
participate in the INLA dance festival in
Beijing, China. "Dancing is in my soul. Knowing
that I am able to instill my love of dance in
others gives me great joy." This is Rachael's
eighth year with DDC&G.

RACHAEL ZYNDA
Rachael's ballet background includes studying
with The Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet under Nan
Klinger, Ballet Met of Columbus, North Carolina
School of the Arts, and the Ballet Regent Summer
Institute. She graduated from Butler University
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance
Performance where she also performed with the
Butler Ballet. Rachael's teaching background
includes Ballet, Pointe, Creative Movement and
conditioning classes. We wish Rachael the best
as she takes a time to concentrate on her
growing family!

RIAN ORDERS
5th-7th Grade Program Coordinator
Rian has been with Dublin Dance Centre &
Gymnastics since the age of six. She trained in
a number of dance styles, including ballet, tap,
and jazz and was a member of the Senior
Repertory company for seven years. Post high
school, Rian continued her studies at The Ohio
State University in Early Childhood Education.
Rian is a former member of the GCAC award
winning Anatomical Scenario, with whom she
traveled to the New York International Fringe
Festival for two consecutive summers, as well as
a founding dancer with TUPACO dance. From
2006-2010, she danced professionally in the
‘Columbus Dances’ series (formally CM2),
performing in critically acclaimed pieces by
Kristina Isabelle and Jessica Tupa. Rian has
most recently become a part of SNAP! Performance
Productions and was a dancer in the original
production ‘The Manila Envelope’ this past May.
This will be her thirteenth season on the
faculty of DDC&G.

SARAH HEIGEL
Student Teacher
Sarah is a senior at Bishop Watterson High
School. She started dancing when she was 8 years
old and fell in love with ballet. She has been
in the Senior Intensive Ballet Program at DDC&G
for 3 years, a member of Repertory Company and
has had several lead roles in DDC&G's annual
performances. Sarah has attended summer dance
intensives at the Cincinnati Ballet, Kaatsbaan
Intenational Dance in Tivoli, NY and Point Park
University in Pittsburgh. In addition to dance,
Sarah is committed to service. She is the
director of Corps de Ballet at Dublin Dance
Centre & Gymnastics and travels with Ms Amanda
to teach at Southside Settlement House. This is
Sarah’s first year on staff with DDC&G.
