Adapted Dance Education is a program designed especially for children with special needs. Based on DDC&G’s current Creative Dance program, Adapted Dance will provide your child with the opportunity to explore the world of dance while also developing important cognitive and physical skills. Classes may be small group or in an inclusive setting depending on each child’s needs. Upon request, this class will be linked to your child’s IEP goals.

About the Teacher:

Anne

Anne Browning has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has studied all dance art forms but spent her later years concentrating on Jazz. Anne attended OSU to study Dance and Special Education. Anne has been an Intervention Specialist for the last 9 years, and has worked with special needs children from ages 2-18 in and out of the school setting. She is so excited to expand her love of children and movement to all kids at DDC&G. “I am so lucky to be living out my dream of dancing and teaching now at DDC&G. There is not a day in my life without dance in our house and I can’t wait to bring my energy to my students!”
